Care tailored to your dog

Every care pathway begins with an individual assessment. Our wellness services complement veterinary care and do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.

All prices are in Australian dollars.

What services do you offer?

Prima Paw Wellness Centre provides hydrotherapy, Accell Therapy, senior dog wellness, healthy weight and recovery support, wellness assessments and progress reviews. A visiting acupuncturist also offers appointments on scheduled visiting days.

How much is the first appointment?

The initial assessment is $95 and includes the first hydrotherapy session. It covers your dog’s history, mobility and goals, baseline measurements and an individual care plan. This appointment is charged separately from memberships.

How much is hydrotherapy, and how long does it take?

Casual hydrotherapy is $77 per appointment. Allow approximately 30–45 minutes, including preparation, assistance, drying and brief progress notes. Time in the water is tailored to your dog’s needs and tolerance.

How much is Accell Therapy?

Accell Therapy is $30 for a standalone appointment, $20 when added to another paid service at the same visit, or $15 when added to an included membership appointment. Hydrotherapy + Accell is $97, saving $10 compared with separate casual appointments. Suitability is assessed individually.

What memberships are available?

Monthly memberships include hydrotherapy appointments: Wellness Club is $135 for 2 visits; Senior Paw Club is $199 for 3; Healthy Weight Club is $259 for 4; and Recovery Club is $499 for 8. Plans include progress support and are recommended after assessment. Allowances are per dog, per calendar month.

How much do memberships save?

Compared with $77 casual hydrotherapy appointments, Wellness Club saves $19 per month (12.3%), Senior Paw Club saves $32 (13.9%), Healthy Weight Club saves $49 (15.9%) and Recovery Club saves $117 (19.0%). Savings assume all included appointments are used. Reviews and guidance are additional benefits.

Is there a multi-dog discount?

Each additional dog’s membership receives 10% off in the same household and billing account, while another dog remains on a full-price membership. Additional dog monthly prices are Wellness $121.50, Senior Paw $179.10, Healthy Weight $233.10 and Recovery $449.10. The discount applies to membership fees only.

Is acupuncture available?

Appointments with a visiting acupuncturist are available on scheduled visiting days. Availability, pricing and suitability are confirmed when booking.

Is hydrotherapy suitable for every dog?

Suitability depends on your dog’s health, mobility, goals and comfort in the water. Care begins with an individual assessment. Veterinary input or clearance may be required before sessions commence.

Is a vet referral required?

Veterinary input or clearance may be needed, particularly for dogs with a diagnosis, recent surgery or an injury. Relevant veterinary recommendations and history are considered when planning care. Any referral or clearance requirements are confirmed before the appointment.

What support is available for older dogs?

Senior dog support includes tailored movement sessions, mobility and comfort tracking, and progress reviews. Care begins with an assessment, with veterinary input where needed. Senior Paw Club includes 3 hydrotherapy appointments per calendar month for $199.

What support is available for weight management?

Healthy Weight Club combines tailored hydrotherapy, weight tracking and practical owner guidance. It includes 4 hydrotherapy appointments per calendar month for $259. Suitability is assessed first, alongside veterinary recommendations where needed.

Is recovery support available after surgery?

Assessment-led recovery support is available, with veterinary input where needed. The care plan takes account of the surgery and the treating vet’s recommendations. Recovery Club includes 8 hydrotherapy appointments per calendar month for $499, when suitable for the agreed plan.

How are appointments booked?

Appointment enquiries can be made through the contact page. Booking information includes your dog’s name, age, breed, reason for attending and preferred appointment days, together with relevant health conditions or recent surgery. Suitability and availability are confirmed before booking.

Can memberships be paused or cancelled?

Pause, cancellation and unused-session arrangements are confirmed before joining. Membership changes are handled individually with the team, including when a dog’s needs or circumstances change.
